Leopold Münster, Leader of this "Staffel" Around 14.00 uur it came to a dogfight, Münster shot down two P-38's Kostenbader stayed the whole time with Münster, when the "Gruppe" stopped the fight Kostenbader was out of sight. He didn't return from this flight 19 year later, after reclaiming East-Flevoland, the wreck with Kostenbader was salvaged He was interred in the German cemetery, Ysselsteyn, Limburg, The Netherlands Kostenbader flew with Me 109G-6, W/Nr 27100, Schwarze 9 SGLO - T3148 South East of Groningen Unteroffizier Lintermann of the 6./JG 3 made a forced belly landing due fuel shortage.
